Seniors who are attending a UW System campus in the fall of 2013 should register to take placement tests in the areas of Math, English and Spanish. Students and families are invited to tour Wisconsin’s private colleges and universities during Wisconsin Private College Week, scheduled this year from July 8-23, 2013. During this “open house” week, explore Wisconsin’s 23 private colleges and universities. Students are encouraged to call ahead to the campus(es) they plan to visit. As a bonus, students will receive a waiver of application fees at each campus they visit. Students can also register on the website, www.PrivateCollegeWeek.com, to win a $1,000 “Go Grants” to help pay college tuition if they attend one of Wisconsin’s 23 private colleges.

The Student Achiever Awards Program is sponsored by the generosity of the Lynde & Harry Bradley Foundation and the Brewers Community Foundation. The program recognizes the academic successes of students in our schools.

The following students have been selected for their Best Academic Effort: Joe Bennett, Jacob Dupey, Angela Grimm, Jordan Jacobs, Tyler Job, Bailey Johnson, Sierra Klumpp, Chase Kraus, Abigail Marz, Noah Petersen, Megan Peterson, Marilyn Ratliff, Renee Schauer and Brandon Stadler.
Each student that was selected this year is eligible to receive TWO complimentary game tickets for one preselected game. In addition to the complimentary tickets, each student will receive an honor certificate and all of the submitted names will be published on the Brewers website beginning in late May/early June.

Senior Awards Night The Senior Awards Night is on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. This event is a great opportunity to celebrate academic success at OHS. Whether you will be receiving a scholarship that evening or not, please come to the Awards Night and support your fellow classmates. This is truly a reason to celebrate. |

2013 Discovery World Teen Workshops & Summer Camps Discovery World offers Teen Workshops and Summer Camps for all age groups. Natural Resources Careers Camp – Sponsorship The Ozaukee Chapter of the Great Lakes Sport Fishermen’s Club is looking to sponsor up to four youth to attend the “Natural Resources Workshop” in Eagle River, WI from June 17 through June 21, 2013. Eligible candidates must be 15–18 years of age and attend an Ozaukee/Washington County school. Interested students need to send a one page letter describing why they would like to attend camp to: Bill Koch 711 Vine Place, West Bend, WI 53095 by Monday, April 15, 2013. Selected candidates will have all required camp fees covered by the club.
